Event Planner – What Will I be Doing? You will be working on a variety of large corporate clients organising a variety of events for their teams, that require accommodation and event space There will be a lot of Room Block Management You will coordinate and execute these events from start to finish. You will be working in CST Time Zone Manage event logistics: sourcing, negotiating, contracts, payments, and reconciliation. Maximize income through negotiation and cost savings. Collaborate with key clients in order to successfully meet their business objectives and exceed expectations 20% - 30% of your time will require travelling across the US and Mexico with some European Travel too Event Planner – What experience do I need ? It is essential that you have good experience in using the event management platform Cvent. Lots of experience of Room Block Management Proven event planning experience working with large corporate clients (min 2 years) Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills. Self‑motivated with enthusiasm for work. Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. Good influencing skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools and venue source software. Event Planner – What else do I need to know? This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the USA working Monday to Friday but you will be working 08.30am - 5pm PST time zone.
